Magdalena Heliasz is a graphic designer and creative professional collaborating with artists, cultural institutions and art galleries, including the Museum of Warsaw, Warsaw Gallery Weekend, ING Polish Art Foundation and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
From 2011 to 2020, she led Print Control, a platform promoting Polish graphic design through publications, exhibitions, workshops, screenings and cultural events. The Print Control annual showcased the finest achievements in Polish print design, featuring project overviews and interviews with creators.
She co-organized three editions of the Warsaw Art Book Fair, bringing together leading art publications from across Europe. Additionally, she curated exhibitions of Polish books at events such as Łódź Design Festival, London Book Fair, Paper Works Art Book Fair in Mexico City, BWA Dizajn in Wrocław, Wiels Art Book Fair in Brussels, European Design Festival in Warsaw, Vienna Art Book Fair, Conversations in Riga and Tokyo Art Book Fair.
She also serves as a jury member for Polish design competitions, including KTR, Projekt Roku, and Polish Graphic Design Awards.
