Annual Report Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature
For this annual report, we worked on the inherent contrast of the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature: in the center of the Marais (a famous parisian district), this museum is a cabinet of curiosities that makes art and hunting comes together, love of nature and contemporary art in all its forms. The annual report represents these multiple aspects, combining a visual identity and an iconography that highlight the falsely traditional atmosphere of this place, and a really refined, contemporary layout.
The annual report is designed like a catalog, where the green leafs of the activity report slots into. The document presents at once the place in a general way, and at the same time in the detail its functioning during the year 2012, creating a dialog between the both aspects.
Titles are shaped in the length, in a vertical way, like climbing plants, while running texts are alternately typesetted between a classic-flavored LeMonde Journal and the modern drawing of the Greta Sans.
The choice of using fully recyclable materials and an eco-friendly fabrication contribute to answer to the silent partners and graphic designers’ actual preoccupations. It also allows the project’s global proccess to be in harmony with the place the report is designed for.
