BETWEEN FICTION AND REALITY

by KUKI
Silver

Poster made for a Polish modernist photomontage between years 1924 and 1966 exhibition, with took place in Poster Museum in Wilanow/Warsaw.
The brief under the project:
Photomontage was born out of the spirit of the Avant-Garde movement, at the beginning of the 1920’s. It absorbed the ideas of the German Dadaists and the Russian Constructivists. It developed along with modern art under the influence of collage artists representing different styles, such as simultanism introduced by Cubism, Futurist Dynamism as well as the unexpected association of realistic and imaginary themes by the Surrealists.
All this is included in the poster, which is the perfect complement to the work on exhibition display.
