The key visual is inspired by tree marks typically used by loggers. This refers to the central role of wood for the distillery and the manufacturing process as well. The boilers, for example, are only fired with wood from the company’s own forest. The labels for liqueurs on the other side show old topographic maps, which ironically give a hint to the hidden location of the ingredients. The brand design thus visualizes the unique process of production, the deep regional rootedness of the company, and the high quality of the distillates: Handcrafted spirits from beyond the middle of nowhere.
Brandhaus 7 is a small distillery based in a 400 year old farm house deep in the Black Forest in Germany. The philosophy of the company is simple: only use local and mainly self-produced ingredients, create clear and intense flavors, and only supply the highest quality. This philosophy was the basis for the whole brand design.
