Felleskjøpet is a Norwegian agricultural cooperative that serves as a retailer of agricultural operating equipment including animal food and seeds. It is also a wholesaler of grains. The company has 105 stores, 61 workshops and 55 grain receptions with 1,735 employees. Felleskjøpet is owned by 54,207 members and is one of 13 agricultural cooperatives in Norway.
Felleskjøpet is organised into three separate independent companies that share the same brand and cooperate extensively. One of them, Felleskjøpet Agri, wanted a new visual identity that differentiated them from the retail part of the company. They wanted to be perceived as more B2B than the retail-section, but still keep the brand colours and the farm friendly, down to earth attitude.
We created a visual identity where illustration played an important part, and the main illustrations were objects from the farm.
The two lines was inspired from their iconic boiler suit, which is dark green and has two horizontal lines over the chest, one yellow and one light green. We kept the colours, thickness of lines and space between lines, and transferred this into our illustration-style.
The illustrations has been used on stationary, annual reports and in digital media.
