Flower-shop in the House of Flowers
”Flower-shop in the House of Flowers” was one of the most talked-about Serbian books in 2014. Written by a journalist and marketing strategist Lazar Dzamic, this masterpiece is kind of a ”lens” to explore the surreal, turbulent and sentimental mental landscape of the Balkans: it’s culture of everlasting improvisation, cynical humor and unspoiled creativity.
Even more – this limited edition in English language (supported by GIZ) was produced as an essential ”guide” through the local mentality – a must have for all diplomatic stuff, foreign investors and business people working in Serbia.
Due to it’s name, we decided to design it as an attractive herbarium, filled with all sorts of surrealistic flowers. Using a strong symbolic language, each ”specimen” illustrates a separate chapter.
