
Holidu is a meta search for vacation rentals which has been founded by two german brothers. Our task was to create a digital brand that shows the effectivity of the search tool, but also has a sympathetic and unique personality. So the main challenge was to bring together the technical and human aspect of the brand.
The target group are people between 25 and 50 who search for a wide range, insider tips and the best prices of vacation rentals, with a focus on Germany and Europe.
Our approach is to show how easy and effortless it is to use Holidu. We developed a visual system by connecting two endpoints with a line. This stands for the simplicity and speed of the search tool. This line twists and tweaks into holiday related symbols, which creates a very positive impression. After all, this is about holidays! Another aspect of this concept is that it is easy to animate and adds some liveliness to a rather functional website. The color concept is also spanning the technical and emotional aspect by combining dark blue and light red.
