Loop-Loop makes design, and makes culture (and lack of culture) of the process. Design processes are fundamentally those of accumulation: tireless reiterations of gestures. One after the other until suddenly, one gesture breaks something of the process. And from that fracture, design is born.Loop-Loop’s identity is built on the idea of persistent accumulation and reiteration; almost in an obsessive manner. It’s graphics arise from the improvised superimposition of several tracing papers secured down to the main surface (continuous listing paper, with its’ margins and perforations) by means of staples. Processes are fragile and ephemeral. Loop-Loop’s identity is also. Amongst all this patterns, infinite series of organized elements and rationality are born. And amidst that rational pattern, Loop-Loop claims the importance of error as a triggering factor for results. It demands and searches strongly for it, proclaiming with power the ideal of “in error we trust”.
