The book “Natural Histories” tells about the organic relationship between man and nature. While portraying animals and people, it poses questions about the disappearing biodiversity, the role of the human species in the metamorphoses of nature in the Anthropocene epoch, and the human identity that stretches between the poles of nature and culture. It shows―and describes in 5 popular science texts in Polish and English―the motility of animals and people, movement as a natural communication tool, and above all, it shows how many primitive behaviors, rooted in anatomy and biology, are common to animals and humans.
