For Norwegian Airlines, and together with the advertising agency Trigger, we helped shape a concept where Norwegian would send a taxi to small, random places in Norway, giving the first people to jump in a free trip to a chosen vacation destination — the message being that Norwegian makes it accessible an easy to travel anywhere you’d like in the world.
We provided Norwegian with illustrations of destinations and character designs, a website that lets user chase the Taxi with an interactive map and documents all the trips that took place, and a GPS application for the taxi drivers so they could update their current position on the map.
We wanted to immerse the user in a friendly, colourful and engaging universe with both destination and character illustrations.
We based the illustrations of destinations on what is the most famous and singular in each city and created various and funny characters to emphasize the human aspect of the game and solicit participation.
