OIFF 2009

The festival’s webpage first and foremost task is presenting the program, and to create a visual link to the festival identity (that changes each year, and includes a newspaper, vignette and poster). It is also the entry-point to the communities the festival builds through social media channels (Facebook, Twitter) and the online editorial tools it integrates with (YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr). The backend works as a cms for both the website and the printed material, that through xml-feeds automatically generate the festival newspaper in InDesign. The design is a combination of floating and exactly positioned elements, creating a strong experience for both small and large resolutions. Titles and images are generated to match the hand-drawn style of the identity.
