Provenance makes high-quality homeware products from recycled, reclaimed and renewable materials. The packaging had to sell the story of the materials as much as the product and achieve a high shelf and low environmental impact. The brand language ?this is now? and ?this was? is used to introduce each item?s provenance. Boxes are made from strong orange, self-coloured, 100% (pcw) recycled board and left unbranded to encourage reuse (though easily recycled). Paper sleeves (80% (pcw) recycled paper (20% eco-pulp FSC-certified) carry the branding, with minimal ink and no foil blocking. Cut-outs highlight the materials used.
