We have produced evidence of a place. We have preserved something of the present. We have made a non-statement in a controversy about a reconstruction. We have preserved something that will disappear. We want to show you SLSSN – a disappearing now. SLSSN is a design project about Slussen, a place that will soon not exist in its present shape. The reconstruction will begin in 2013. It’s a topic filled with emotions since the place is falling apart but still is full of life. We want to be able to relive Slussen; a present, a feeling, a place that will never return. A project done between 2012.04.16–2012.05.27. We made a logotype with letters in the name missing since the place is falling apart, SLSSN. We made a book filled with 614 memories of SLSSN. We made a poster of the collected memories, a map of SLSSN. We made a 17 minutes long film which shows SLSSN as a miniature model. We exhibited it all at Berghs School of Communication the last weekend of May 2012. www.slssn.nu
