The making of grapa

by KOFEIN
Silver

3000 bottles of pomace brandy – that’s all that an unusual coproduction between a design studio and a boutique Slovene winemaker from the Vipava Valley was able to concoct. Given the smallness of the batch (with the corresponding design budget) and the complexity of production, the design could not be any less “alternative”, the name any less provocative – BITCH, and the bottle any less ordinary.
The comic in three panels/labels was drawn by the comic artist Danijel Žeželj, the official name and the website THE MAKING OF GRAPA tell the story of its origins:
“Once upon a very long time ago, the evil witch requests a fucking great grapa from the good wizard. He crawls underground, with kilometers of copper tubing, to brew the damn concoction – it takes 667 tries to finally find the secret ingredient.” The whole story is told on www.themakingofgrapa.com.
