World's First Fully Edible Book

Business relation gift for the 4 year anniversary of De Kwartiermakers with a cradle-to-grave feel in it. The briefing was that it could be send by regular mail, had to contain chocolate and would not leave any marks. So we decided to make World’s First Fully Edible Book . After 12 pages a die cut holds the chocolateletters H, E and T; Dutch for ‘IT’. This word is integrated in the design of the pages that follow and stands for their unorthodox approach. The book is very fragile and tactile and will most probably fall apart after a few ‘reads’. This makes it a very transient book. A bookmark mentions the dyes in the edible ink and binding glue (Tylose) and further edible ingredients. Bon appetit
