Viola von Zadow

Digital Applications

Viola von Zadow is a communications designer and photographer from Berlin. She is a co-founder and lead designer of m12.studio, co-editor of Design Made in Germany and a jury member for several awards.

m12.studio is a hub for tailor-made, high-standard conceptual design solutions. On top of a strong core team, its long-standing partner network allows to respond to complex client needs in digital and print. Since 2014, Viola is a co-editor for the online magazine of Design Made in Germany, since 2018, a judge for Epica Awards and, since 2020, a jury member of European Design Awards.

Viola studied Kommunikationsdesign at the HTW Berlin with honors and gained project experience at the design studio Ritator in Stockholm, at Polyform in Berlin and with London-based John Thompson & Partners in Dublin and Shanghai.
