The Câmara Municipal do Porto is actually one of the city’s landmarks, situated at the top of Aliados Avenue, at the heart of downtown. Along with Clérigos Tower, this is one of the most famous monuments among tourists. With its solid 70m high tower with a carillon clock, the Porto City Hall is an imposing building that dates back to the beginning of the 20th century.
This is going to be the venue for a welcome reception thrown by the City itself, and the mayor or Porto Rui de Carvalho de Araújo Moreira, personally, in order to stress the city’s dedication and acknowledgement to the design profession.
