Barbara van Santen is a communications professional and graphic designer with a strong background in the creative and non-profit sectors, based in Amsterdam. She holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the Maastricht Institute of Arts and a master’s degree from Maastricht University. Over the years, Barbara has contributed to organisations such as the European Cultural Foundation, the Erasmus Prize Foundation and the multidisciplinary architecture firm NOAHH.
Currently, she serves as Communications Manager at the Association of Dutch Designers (BNO), the largest community of designers and design agencies in the Netherlands. In this capacity, she has been closely involved in the editing, development and overall coordination of Dd, Dutch designers Yearbook. In her work, she is dedicated to strengthening the visual identity and branding of organisations committed to making a positive societal impact.
