Boril Karaivanov is a book designer, illustrator and typographer by education, whose practice spans graphic design, advertising and user interface design. As part of the first generation of web designers in Bulgaria, he has contributed to key projects within the Bulgarian internet landscape.
He is one of the founders of the For Bulgarian Cyrillic initiative and a principal organiser of typo.bg, initiatives dedicated to representing and supporting the development of typography in Bulgaria. Boril is the author of numerous publications and an active lecturer and tutor, leading workshops and seminars in user interface, typography and graphic design.
