Mátyás Czél is a creative director, curator, and cultural entrepreneur working at the intersection of visual culture, technology, and systems thinking. He is the founder of CM.SUPPLY, a Budapest-based studio operating internationally, and the co-founder of POV Budapest, an international conference curated around the evolving role of visual practices today.
Educated at Central Saint Martins, Mátyás built early experience across the Netherlands, the UK, and Austria, collaborating with leading studios and contributing to major international brand systems. While grounded in design, his work has increasingly focused on framework-building, editorial thinking, and the curation of ideas, platforms, and discourse, rather than conventional design practice.
Alongside CM.SUPPLY, he co-founded Verso, a platform developed in close collaboration with galleries and cultural institutions, and UNITO, a modular furniture venture informed by systems and organisational thinking. Across these initiatives, his role centres on shaping narratives, structures, and environments that enable creative communities, institutions, and businesses to grow and connect.
Through his curatorial, editorial, and strategic work, Mátyás contributes to ongoing conversations about how visual culture operates, evolves, and gains meaning in contemporary society.
