The organisation of guided design tours is an excellent opportunity for people from all over Europe to get a first-hand experience of the local design scene.
Four studios in the vicinity of each other are picked up and are invited to host visiting groups of international visitors, to exhibit their work, discuss their challenges, their solutions and their methodology, to interact and to exchange views and experiences.

Studio Dobra
After 10 years of working individually, in January 2014, André Cruz and João Guedes joined forces and created Dobra, a graphic design studio based in Porto. They work with cultural institutions, independent publishers and like-minded companies. They are also fortunate to do a lot of work for music and theatre companies.
GSA Design
GSA is a design studio based in the city of Porto, since its foundation in the Fine Arts School of Porto in 2001. Currently, there are three designers working at GSA: Isabel Arouca, João Tiago Santos and Lígia Magro.
The studio collaborates with several institutions from different areas, from Culture to Science and in many design areas including editorial design, branding and identities and illustration.
AND Atelier
And Atelier is a small, independent design studio run by João Araújo and Rita Huet and currently based in Porto. Their work always tries to accomplish a strong conceptual approach, through clear solutions with a strong typographic component and respect for letterforms and reading rhythms.
Mother Volcano
Founded in 2013, Mother Volcano is an independent creative studio that specialises in illustration based communication, content and digital products. It brings together storytelling, animation, interaction design and code to create beautiful, relevant and exciting work that takes the message further.
