He studied Graphic and type design at ECAL / University of Art and Design Lausanne, Switzerland, graduating with an award for researches and applications in typeface design and typography. He has worked for Swatch, Mercedes-Benz and Musée de l’Elysée Lausanne.
He focuses on type design, art direction, editorial design as well as new visual identities for brands and cultural institutions. Raphaël Verona also produces and leads photographic projects.
He is a professor at Eracom Lausanne—école romande d’arts et communication where he teaches Type and Editorial Design, while at the same time he has been contributing to IDPURE éditions Books and publications since 2011, as an art director and editor.
